Between 2023 and 2025, in collaboration with the Rebelo de Andrade studio, we ensured the full coordination of the project, from alterations and technical compatibility to the management of archaeological work, demolition and containment of historic façades, ensuring a balance between the new construction and the pre-existing structure.

Work Description:

Challenge: finding the balance between construction volumes, new materials and pre-existing structures to be preserved 
Technical details of the project:
- Project coordination during the detailed design and preparation for construction phase 
- Thorough analysis of the execution project to ensure compatibility between the various specialities and the architecture 
- Follow up with architect, engineers and project team 
- Assisting customers in defining specifications and technical information for design decisions
- Monitoring of archaeological work and demolition of part of the pre-existing structure 
- Coordination of work to uncover relevant archaeological remains between the team of archaeologists, the City Council and the CCDR 
- Coordination of demolition work and waste removal to landfill sites 
- Coordination of works for the implementation of the containment structure for the façades to be maintained
